Handmade Pieces

Every smitti bag is individually cut and sewn in small quantities.

Because each piece is handmade and patterned textiles are individually cut, no two bags will be exactly alike. Small variations in pattern placement, stitching, shape, texture, and other handmade details may occur and are part of the character of each piece.

These natural variations are not considered defects.

Any significant known flaw or irregularity will be disclosed in the product listing before purchase.

Colors + Pattern Placement

We make every effort to photograph smitti pieces as accurately as possible. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, screen settings, and your device.

Pattern placement may also vary between pieces made from the same textile.

Please review product images carefully before purchasing.

Vintage, Deadstock + Limited Textiles

Some smitti pieces may be made from vintage, deadstock, repurposed, or limited-quantity textiles.

These materials may naturally contain subtle variations in weave, texture, color, or pattern as a result of their age or production history.

Any material characteristic we believe significantly affects the appearance or use of a piece will be disclosed in its product description.

Because many textiles are available only in limited quantities, restocks are not guaranteed.

Care

smitti bags are textile pieces and should be treated with care.

Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, we recommend spot cleaning only with a soft, damp cloth.

Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Avoid exposure to water, excessive heat, and rough surfaces. When not in use, store your bag in a cool, dry place and avoid folding or crushing it to help maintain its shape.

Because materials may vary between collections, always refer to the individual product listing for material-specific care information.

Orders + Limited Availability

smitti pieces are produced in small quantities, and some may be one of a kind.

Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Your purchase is confirmed only after checkout has been successfully completed.

Once a piece sells out, it may not be reproduced or restocked.

In the rare event of an inventory error that prevents us from fulfilling your order, your order will be canceled and the amount paid for the unavailable item will be refunded.

Order Changes + Cancellations

If you need to request a change or cancellation, contact hello@shopsmitti.com as soon as possible after placing your order.

We'll do our best to accommodate requests before an order has been packed or shipped, but changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Pricing + Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be displayed at checkout.

Prices may change between releases based on materials, construction, and other production costs. Any price change applies only to future purchases and does not affect completed orders.

Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, measurements, photographs, availability, and pricing are accurate.

Because smitti products are handmade, measurements may vary slightly from piece to piece.

If an error is discovered in a product listing or order, we reserve the right to correct the information and, where appropriate, contact you regarding your order.

Intellectual Property

The smitti name, logo, original bag designs, photographs, graphics, website content, and other original creative materials are owned by smitti or used with permission.

They may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Privacy

Information you provide when placing an order is used to process and fulfill your purchase, provide customer service, and communicate with you about your order.

If you separately choose to join the smitti email list, your contact information may also be used to send updates about new releases and other smitti news. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Payment information is processed through our third-party payment processor and is not stored directly by smitti.

Governing Law

These Terms + Policies are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without limiting any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
